Pacific MarthaDOB: 3/3/01Sire: BL Night Chex (Circle K Donovan son out of one of the longest horned black cows in the breed, Miss Quixote Especial) Dam: SR Dixie Cherry (a Dixie Creole daughter out of a Johnnie Hoffman bred Emperor daughter) |
| From the day she was born, Martha has been a special cow. She broke the 60” barrier before her fourth birthday, and she is well on her way to being in the high 60s. She may even surpass the 70” mark. She also shows the kind of balance that reflects the fabulous pedigree which she has. That pedigree contains ancestors whose genes are responsible for the balance, frame, and femininity which make her such a special cow. Her offspring to date show excellent promise, and her 2005 heifer (Pacific Barbie) is developing so spectacularly that she just might become, in time, one of the most valuable females in the breed. This is a cow that will earn a name for herself in the history of the breed before she is done. | |
